Be Healed

When we see all the sicknesses and diseases that have plagued humanity for thousands and thousands of years, it’s hard to imagine a life without the presence of some form of illness. But that is exactly the kind of life that God intended and still intends for us to live. No matter what type of physical or mental challenge you may be dealing with, according to the Word of God, you can BE HEALED! Despite the duration of the disease or the depth of the disease, you do not have to keep dealing with the disease. You can BE HEALED! Psalm 103: 2-3 says “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.” It is clear from this passage that God is the forgiver of sins and the healer of diseases. But if we are going to BE HEALED, there are some things that we must embrace.

1) Healing is God’s plan – It is the Lord who not only forgives all our iniquities, but it is also the Lord who heals all our diseases. Unfortunately, there are many people who oppose what they have improperly labeled as the “health and wealth gospel”. However, it is clear from scripture that healing is God’s idea, not man’s. It is the Lord who does the healing. Why does He heal? Because healing is His will. It was never God’s intention for us to get sick, so it is certainly not His intention for us to stay sick. It is God’s will that we BE HEALED! Jesus said in John 6:38 “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.” When we study the life of Jesus, we never see Him causing diseases, but we always see Him curing diseases. Why? Because healing is God’s will. Anything opposite of that is a violation of God’s plan for man.

2) Healing is for all problems – It is the Lord who heals all our diseases. It doesn’t matter what system, fiber, cell, organ or etc. has been or is being negatively impacted. It doesn’t matter if it is something internal or external, mental, or physical. God has the power to heal it all. There is nothing too hard for God! There is nothing too hard for God! And contrary to popular opinion, God’s ability is not limited to the size of the infirmity. With God all things are possible! In Matthew 15, Jesus had gone up into a mountain and great multitudes came to Him, bringing people that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and Jesus healed them all. Not just some of them, or most of them, but He healed ALL of them! Listen to me… If you can have it, God can heal it!

3) Healing is for all people – Just like forgiveness is available for everybody’s sins, healing is available for everybody’s sicknesses. Healing is not just limited to a certain people group, a certain color, a certain race, a certain gender, a certain age group, a certain background, a certain socio-economic status, a certain sexual orientation or etc. Romans 10:13 says “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” The word saved doesn’t just mean born again, but it comes from the Greek word sozo, which also means to keep safe, deliver, heal, and do well in every area of life. Healing is available for whosoever. All people can partake. If you can believe for it, you can have it! The same Lord who is over all, is also rich unto all that call upon Him.

God has already done His part by paying the price for our healing, with the death of His Son Jesus on the cross. Now healing is available for all. So, it doesn’t matter what it is or how long you’ve had it, if your condition, is not in alignment with God’s covenant or His compassion, it does not have to be your conclusion. You can BE HEALED!
