Pastor Christopher Leroy Simmons, Sr. was born and raised in the city of Little Rock, AR, and graduated from the Historic Little Rock Central High School in 1987. After being supernaturally delivered from a crack cocaine addiction in July of 1992, he accepted the call of God on his life to preach the Gospel. In October of that same year, he delivered his first public message at the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in North Little Rock, AR., where his Father, the late Rev. Roosevelt Simmons, Sr. served as Pastor.
In January 2015, after 23 years of serving in several different ministry capacities in churches within the Baptist denomination, God led Pastor Simmons to plant NuLife Christian Fellowship Church, a non-denominational, multicultural ministry in the city of Little Rock. The church was started with the conviction that “when real people, with real problems, meet the real Jesus, they can experience real change”.

In June of 2023, Pastor Simmons was confirmed and commissioned as an Apostle in the Church of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by Apostle Isaac Pitre, Founder and Leader of II Kings Global Network, Texarkana, TX.
